About The Position

The CNA on our 46-bed Medical-Surgical unit provides direct patient care and supports nursing staff in delivering safe, compassionate care. Responsibilities include assisting patients with activities of daily living, obtaining vital signs, monitoring intake/output, maintaining patient hygiene and comfort, and reporting changes in condition to the nursing team. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • One year preferred.
  • One year Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required.
  • Completion of NAI program, required.
  • Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required.
  • Medication Safety - AME, required.
  • NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
