About The Position

Park Place of Elmhurst is an elegant five-star community conveniently located across the street from Edward Elmhurst hospital. Here at Park Place of Elmhurst, we offer a continuum of care with the security of lifecare. Our residents also have access to assisted living, short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and memory support right on campus. We are seeking a hardworking professional Certified Nursing Assistant, (CNA), Full Time, 10PM-6AM to support carrying out our mission to deliver quality care to our residents! Shift Available: 10PM-6AM. Maintaining accurate and complete records of nursing observations and care. Performs all functions in compliance with CDC, OSHA, JCAHO, State and Federal Regulatory bodies. Communicates and interprets the goals of care to the resident and family/caregiver. Assist with the Admissions process and greet residents and family members. Assist in toileting, bathing, and daily grooming of assigned residents. Maintain a calm, pleasant living environment for the residents. Wear a gait belt to assist residents who are not fully ambulatory. Document changes in medical condition to the appropriate nurses on duty. Give and receive shift reports to ensure consistent medical care is delivered. Measure and record vital signs as necessary or instructed.

Requirements

  • Must have a compassionate, empathetic and nurturing personality.
  • Must truly have a desire to care for the elderly.
  • Must be mature and career minded.
  • Must have a Nursing Assistant Certification for the State of Illinois.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in long-term care is a plus.
