About The Position

Requirements

Active New York State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum 1 year of patient care experience
Ability to pass pre-employment health clearance
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Patient-focused and compassionate approach to care
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Ability to adapt to fast-paced and high-pressure environments
Commitment to professional growth and development

Nice To Haves

Experience in a Level 1 Trauma or Emergency Department setting

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care, including bathing, toileting, feeding, and hygiene support
Obtain and record vital signs accurately
Assist with patient mobility and repositioning
Serve as a safety companion for patients at risk, ensuring continuous observation
Communicate patient status and changes to nursing staff
Maintain a safe and clean patient care environment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
Demonstrate knowledge of age-specific patient care and development
Uphold ethical standards and patient confidentiality
