About The Position

The ASC Certified Nursing Assistant will primarily assist with providing safe and efficient patient care in Preoperative and Recovery areas (PACU). Some assistance in the Operating Room, Central Supply area or at the reception desk may be required. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• State of Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Certificate is required.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to use an electronic vital sign machine, thermometer, scale, and in removal of intravenous catheter.
• Ability to provide safe transfer of patients from bed to wheelchair, to toilet etc.
• Ability to utilize efficient communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
