In this position you will support Med/Surg department, Geriatric Behavioral Health Unit, and Emergency Department. Here are some ways you’ll serve patients: Critical monitoring, like obtaining blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiratory rate, and oxygen levels – so we can better assess patient health Transport patients to appointments and procedures – to get them the right care at the right time Interact with patients to promote comfort, and express compassion, and empathy as they heal Walking – It’s one of the most important things we can do for our patients- and you get to help them do it safely Assist with activities of daily living – things we often take for granted that patients may be unable to, or need help doing, themselves. This can include eating, bathing, brushing teeth, toileting and more. Schedule: Part-Time 60 hours every two weeks Variable 12-hour shifts; shifts to include 7pm-7:30am and 7am-7:30pm (you would be working a combination of both shifts) Every 3rd weekend 7pm-7:30am Rotating Holidays
