About The Position

You will be an essential part of our dedicated team, providing high-quality care to our residents. Your role will involve assisting residents with daily living activities monitoring their health status, and ensuring their comfort and well-being. Hiring for weekends/up to 3 shifts per week.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
• Familiarity with caring for individuals in different healthcare settings
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant is a plus
• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Ability to commute: Toms River, NJ 08755 (Required)
• Ability to relocate: Toms River, NJ 08755
• Relocate before starting work (Required)

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor residents' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
• Follow all HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality
• Collaborate with the nursing team to create individualized care plans
• Assist with phlebotomy procedures as needed
• Work in various settings such as assisted living, outpatient clinics, pediatrics, medical offices, emergency medicine, and home community care
