About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant provides physical and personal care to the hospice patient under the direction of the registered nurse. To provide assistance and understanding to the primary caregiver and family unit in a professional, courteous, supportive manner. Promotes professional integrity, exceptional respect, teamwork and participates in the interdisciplinary team, agency functions, meetings, and training, as required. Provides continuous care coverage as needed. To work as a hospice team member to provide care within the guidelines of the interdisciplinary group (IDG) care plan.
