About The Position

Mozaic Senior Life is sponsoring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program for qualified candidates. This course will teach essential skills required to care for individuals living or recuperating at Mozaic or in their home in the community. The program is fully sponsored by Mozaic, covering all expenses including tuition, required materials, and books. The 4-week course features combined classroom and clinical education, with classes anticipated to begin on February 16, 2026. Classes will take place Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Education Suite at Mozaic Senior Life, meeting the State hours requirement of 100 hours of training.

Requirements

• Must be an employee in good standing (including attendance).
• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• External candidates must undergo a criminal background check and drug test, physical, and PPD.
• Must have a valid CT Driver's License and DMV check for Home Care employees.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be available to attend the course for 4 weeks and meet punctuality and attendance standards.
• Must agree to work at Mozaic Senior Life as a full-time employee for one year upon receiving certification.
• Must agree to repay the cost of the program ($1,000) if unable to fulfill the agreement or complete the course.

Responsibilities

• Attend the 4-week CNA training course.
• Complete 100 hours of classroom and clinical training.
• Work as a full-time employee at Mozaic Senior Life for one year after certification.
