About The Position

Are you a nursing student looking for a summer CNA job? We have the perfect position for you - a temporary job in a learning environment. This is a 10+ week summer position; mid-May thru mid-August. If you want to stay with us as a PRN employee after 8/02/25, you can. You'll then be expected to pick up shifts during your future holiday or semester breaks. As an RN or LPN Student Nurse, this would be an excellent opportunity to work in a learning environment. Sharpen your Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) skills while working side by side with some talented nurses and clinicians.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification for the state of IL.
• Currently enrolled in a Nurse Education Program (Associates or Bachelor's level).
• Ability to remain calm and smile during challenging situations.
• Commit to stay from 5/22/25 thru 8/02/25 (10 weeks).

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a healthcare setting.
• Interest in behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to the mentally ill/behavior health population.
• Assist with daily living activities for residents.
• Work alongside nurses and clinicians to enhance learning.
• Participate in patient engagement activities.
