About The Position

Monterey Park Hospital, a 101-acute care facility located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant/ Nursing Assistant for our Med/Surg Unit . This is a full-time, 12-hour day shift position reporting to the Director of Med/Surg. Responsibilities The Med/Surg Certified Nursing Assistant / Nursing Assistant (NA) receives assignments from the Charge RN and takes direction from the RN &/or LVN. The CNA/NA position is directly responsible for delivering high-quality, individualized basic nursing care. The CNA/NA utilizes knowledge of the patient’s age, developmental status, spiritual and cultural diversity in the provision of patient care. The CNA/NA position contributes to the provision of safety and quality nursing care that results in positive patient outcomes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current CA Nursing Assistant Certification preferred.
• Current BLS from the American Heart Association required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current CA Nursing Assistant Certification preferred.
