About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant/ Nursing Assistant functions as an assistant to the Registered Nurse. Under the supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse, a CNA/ Nursing Assistant provides basic nursing services to ensure the safety, comfort, personal hygiene, and protection of patients.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Satisfactory completion of Certified Nursing Assistant Training Course preferred.
• Relevant experience assisting with activities of daily living.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• A current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS card is required.
• Current California CNA certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Registered Nurse in providing basic nursing services.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients.
• Assist with personal hygiene and grooming of patients.
• Manage and prioritize work assignments and other duties as assigned.
