About The Position
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Florida Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a fulltime Mental Health Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Dade Correctional Institution located in Florida City, Florida. The Certified Nursing Assistant (Behavioral Health) (CNA) works under the close direction of nursing, medical, and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. This professional assists patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs, and vital sign monitoring.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Active Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or ability to obtain one required
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
