About The Position

Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital in Stevens Point, WI is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant with Med Surg to join our team! The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) assists the Registered Nurse with the delivery of quality care to patients of all ages in their homes as outlined on the individual patient's plan of care.

Requirements

• Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant Program.
• High school diploma; continued education beneficial.
• State Nurse Aide Certification required and in good standing.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Possess a valid Michigan or Wisconsin driver's license.
• Possess automobile liability insurance with minimum $100,000/$300,000 coverage.
• Acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Previous work experience in an acute care setting or nursing home.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Registered Nurse with the delivery of quality care to patients.
• Communicate clinical information to patients, representatives, caregivers, and agency staff.
• Follow the individual patient's plan of care.
