About The Position

Assists patients with healthcare needs who are ill or recovering from surgery or disease. To show our commitment to your transition into our organization, we are are offering a $2000 sign on bonus. This position requires a current CNA Certification in the State of Montana Schedule Details: Full Time, Day Shift Benefits Eligible: Yes ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES Performs other duties as assigned. Carries out care as delegated by the RN. Receives report from RN daily by 0830 or 2030 to coordinate plan of care related to ADL's. Documents all ADL's for each patient every shift. Answers lights, or intercom system to determine patients' needs. Serves and collects food trays and feeds patients requiring help. Transports patients or assists patients to walk. Runs errands, and direct visitors. Participates in admission/discharge activities. Accurately documents the care provided to patient during shift. Adheres to infection prevention strategies. Stock rooms with supplies. Stock isolation racks with supplies. Responsible to perform purposeful rounding. Updates "care boards" to include name, plan related to ADL/s, date

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Nurse Aide Skills Checklist
  • Current Montana C.N.A. certification required upon hire
  • BLS required within 60 days of hire
  • Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts is required
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
