About The Position

Gundersen Health System is seeking a part-time CNA for our Neuroscience Unit. Care for neurosurgery patients and those with other neurological disorders (i.e. spinal surgeries, deep brain stimulators, brain tumors/lesions, aneurysm treatment, lumbar drains, endovascular stroke treatment, seizures, post traumas, and more). This position is 0.4 FTE, requiring 32 hours bi-weekly, with shifts including 8-hour Day/PM shifts and 4-hour PM shifts. The role involves working every other weekend and three holidays a year.

Requirements

• Wisconsin Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Care for neurosurgery patients and those with neurological disorders.
• Work 8-hour Day/PM shifts (6:30am - 3:00pm, 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm).
• Work 4-hour PM shifts (2:30pm-7pm; 6:30pm - 11pm).
• Work every other weekend (8-hour shifts) and three holidays a year.
