About The Position

As a Hospice Aide / CNA at AccentCare, you will find your passion and purpose in caring for others. The position is per-diem, requiring 2-3 shifts per week, with each shift lasting 8 hours.

Requirements

• Certified by the state as a nurse's aide, with completion of required training and a passing score of 85% or higher on the agency's competency exam.
• CPR certification required for direct patient care in Georgia and Washington.
• Must be listed on the state aide registry with a clear record and eligible to provide care in homes, nursing facilities, or hospitals.
• Requires a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and state-required auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to hospice patients, including assistance with personal hygiene, repositioning, and mobility support.
• Support patients in their homes or care facilities through frequent movement and physical activity, ensuring timely and dignified end-of-life care.
• Monitor comfort levels, respond to needs, and assist with daily living activities while maintaining patient safety and dignity.
• Work comfortably in home and facility environments, adapting to varying conditions while upholding infection control and safety protocols.
