About The Position
Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking Certified Nursing Assistant / Health Unit Coordinator to join our Birthing Center team! The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Health Unit Coordinator functions in two roles as a service provider and a member of the multidisciplinary care team, responsible for providing care support and service tasks. As a Health Unit Coordinator, assists the professional and paraprofessional staff by performing clerical and receptionist duties. HOURS: Part Time or .6 FTE, 48 hours every pay period. Day shift.
Requirements
- Knowledge of patient care standards and general office practices is normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience, and completion of a nursing assistant course.
- Graduation from an accredited vocational technical adult education program for Health Unit Coordinators (VTAE) or an approved Health Unit Coordinator program, or training/education to meet job requirements necessary.
- Prior listing on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry required with current registry recommended.
- CPR or BLS
- CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT
Nice To Haves
- Two years' experience as a nursing assistant in outpatient services beneficial.
- Two years' experience as a Health Unit Coordinator beneficial.
