About The Position

Aspirus is currently seeking a Health Unit Coordinator / Certified Nursing Assistant in Antigo, Wisconsin to work in the Emergency Department at Aspirus Langlade Hospital. The CNA/HUC is a member of the healthcare team and responsible for assisting with providing patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or Emergency Services provider, including Advance Practice Clinicians (APC). Also performs clerical coordination duties as assigned by any member of the healthcare team. The CNA/HUC reports primarily to the Emergency Services Director but will collaborate with other department leaders based upon where the need for a flex CNA/HUC exists within the organization.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Must be eligible to practice as evidenced on the State of Wisconsin Nurse Aide registry.
• Will complete BLS prior to completion of orientation or within the first 90 days.
• Maintains CNA certification renewal.
• Previous documented experience in an acute care setting desirable.
• One or more years of CNA experience preferred.
• Minimum of six months clerical experience required.

Responsibilities
