About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Float performs CNA duties in multiple departments as assigned on a routine “fill-in” basis. The CNA Floater works under the direction of a Registered Nurse and in accordance to the patient/family care plan to collect patient information and provide direct patient care contributing significantly to the achievement of patient and family outcomes. As a member of the direct care team, the CNA is responsible and accountable for complete and accurate collection and recording of data, completion of routine and delegated direct patient care activities and communicating and collaborating with the Registered Nurse to prioritize workload. Requirements

  • Must have or have had a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification awarded by the State of Wisconsin.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
