About The Position
Caring Hands United, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and reliable Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in-home care for clients in the Stone Mountain/Decatur, GA area. In this role, you will assist clients with daily living activities and personal care within their homes while working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and Staffing Coordinator. Requirements
- Current CNA certification in the State of Georgia
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a healthcare facility or home care setting
- Ability to demonstrate proper CNA procedures and care techniques
- Must be able to travel to one or more client homes in the community
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- CPR Certification
- First Aid Certification
- TB/PPD Test
- Valid Driver's License
- Current Auto Insurance
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care and daily living activities
- Support clients in learning and performing independent living skills
- Provide light housekeeping and assist with grocery shopping
- Participate in recreational and social activities with clients
- Accompany clients to appointments and community activities when needed
- Observe and document client behavior and report concerns
- Follow all care plans and procedures as directed by the supervising nurse
