About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join a skilled nursing facility in Pocatello, ID. In this role, you will provide essential evening care to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being in a supportive environment.

Requirements

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Idaho
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and assisting with patient transfers
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate and resident-focused approach to care
• Flexibility to work evening shifts and variable schedules

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility
• Safely support residents with transfers to and from beds, chairs, and wheelchairs
• Monitor and accurately record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or mental condition to nursing staff
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided in accordance with facility policies
• Follow infection control protocols, safety standards, and hygiene practices
• Help maintain a clean, respectful, and comfortable environment for residents
