About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care and support under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. This role is essential in ensuring patient comfort, safety, and daily care needs while supporting the overall nursing team in delivering high-quality, compassionate care.

Requirements

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Prior healthcare or hospital experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility)
  • Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
  • Reposition and transfer patients safely using proper body mechanics
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
  • Respond promptly to patient call lights and requests
  • Support patient comfort and emotional well-being
  • Assist with admission, discharge, and transport of patients as needed
  • Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines at all times
