About The Position

HEALTHY COMMUNITIES. COMPASSIONATE CARE. Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH), located in Gravette, Arkansas, has openings for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) within our Medication Therapy Department. We have openings across multiple shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends and offer flexible scheduling with Full Time, Part Time, and PRN opportunities available. Our facilities include a hospital located in Gravette, Arkansas and a number of satellite clinics located in Southwest Missouri and Northwest Arkansas. Specialty clinic services include Pediatrics, Women's Health, Diabetes Care, Hepatitis C, Urology, Geriatrics, Pain Management, and the FLAG (Fatty Liver and Goals) Clinic. The CNA provides and maintains a safe, neat, and clean patient environment. Ensures the maintenance of supplies, equipment, and patient care in accordance with established procedure. Participates in patient care activities as a member of the nursing team and under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program or has a significant amount of nursing assistant experience in the hospital setting.
  • Current BLS certification upon hire or BLS certification must be obtained during orientation period or at next available scheduled class. Throughout employment, current BLS certification must be maintained by renewal during renewal period or at next available scheduled class.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years hospital experience preferred, preferably in an outpatient clinic or inpatient setting.
