Position Summary: Under nursing supervision the Nursing Assistant provides nursing care to patients as assigned by the Registered Nurse. The Nursing Assistant is accountable for patient care they provide during a shift. The Incumbent will be responsible for adhering to the Standards of Nursing Care and for promoting teamwork among co-workers. The individual in this position should have genuine interest in care of the ill and willingness to work under close supervision .
Requirements
- Pursues programs of continuing education, participates in educational conferences, and updates.
- Maintains knowledge and skills related to area of practice.
- Requires CA Certified Nursing Assistant certificate and American Heart Association BCLS Certificate.
Nice To Haves
- Prefer High School graduate and CNA Program work experience.
