About The Position

NurseCore is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for our Ocala team! We’re looking for a caring and dedicated CNA to provide quality support and assistance to a 11-yr old female with a complex medical history, including Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease. She needs assistance with daily activities, including bathing, eating, and toileting. She attends Dreanplex during school hours. Her hours are daily from 7am - 7pm. Requirements

  • Current CNA licensure with the State Board of Nursing in the State of Florida
  • AHCA Clearence
  • Current CPR card
  • Negative TB/PPD or Chest X-Ray within the last 12 months
  • Successful completion of the skills assessment specific to the areas of experience
  • Effective communication skills
  • Must be able to lift 75 pounds at times

Responsibilities

  • Patient Care – Provide compassionate and competent support that builds trust and confidence with patients.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, toileting, grooming, and meal support.
  • Help patients with mobility needs such as ambulation, turning, and repositioning.
  • Professional Development – Maintain required certifications and specialized training.
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as needed, based on the patient’s care plan or assigned area.
