About The Position
As an NAR, you will provide essential hands-on care and support to residents in a compassionate, person-centered environment—playing a key role in their daily comfort, safety, and well-being.
Requirements
- Registered Nursing Assistant listed on the Minnesota Registry
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Strong technical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to resident rights, dignity, and compassionate care
Nice To Haves
- Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or memory care
Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Providing safe transfers using gait belts and mechanical lifts
- Monitoring and reporting changes in residents’ conditions and behaviors
- Assisting with meals, nourishments, and hydration
- Performing range of motion (PROM) exercises per care plans
- Responding promptly to call lights and resident needs
- Following infection control and safety procedures
- Maintaining a clean, safe environment for residents
- Documenting care and observations accurately
- Communicating effectively with residents, families, and team members
- Participating in shift reports and team huddles
- Mentoring and supporting new employees or interns as needed
- Contributing to a positive, person-centered work culture
