Provide routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents in accordance with each resident’s assessment, care plan, and supervisory direction. Requirements

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Responsibilities

Correctly identify residents prior to treatments, meals, etc. using wristbands or photo cards.
Promptly report changes in residents’ conditions to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
Document care on flow sheets, notes, and charts in an informative, descriptive manner.
Immediately report any accidents or incidents observed during the shift.
Maintain confidentiality of residents’ protected health information; report suspected violations.
Perform only those nursing procedures for which you are trained and authorized.
Prepare rooms for new residents (bed made, name tags, admission kit ready).
Greet and escort residents to their rooms, introduce them to roommates and staff, ensure comfort.
Inventory personal possessions and assist residents with packing when transferring or discharging.
