About The Position

NurseCore is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for our Ocala team! We’re looking for a caring and dedicated CNA to provide quality support and assistance to a 22-yr old female with CP. She is extremely active and enjoys playing games, going outside and interacting socially. She also needs assistance with daily activities, including bathing, eating, and toileting. She lives in a two-story home with her bedroom being upstairs. Her open hours are Monday, Friday and Saturdays from 10am - 8pm. Location: SW OCala We are also looking for a caregiver for a 5-year-old male with autism, needing assistance with all ALDs and safety monitoring while his mother recovers from knee surgery. Hours are Monday - Friday and Saturday and Sunday 11am-8pm Location: SW Ocala The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, and punctual, with a true passion for helping others. Requirements

  • Current CNA licensure with the State Board of Nursing in the State of Florida
  • AHCA Clearence
  • Current CPR card
  • Negative TB/PPD or Chest X-Ray within the last 12 months
  • Successful completion of the skills assessment specific to the areas of experience
  • Effective communication skills
  • Must be able to lift 75 pounds at times

Responsibilities

  • Patient Care – Provide compassionate and competent support that builds trust and confidence with patients.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, toileting, grooming, and meal support.
  • Help patients with mobility needs such as ambulation, turning, and repositioning.
  • Professional Development – Maintain required certifications and specialized training.
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as needed, based on the patient’s care plan or assigned area.
