About The Position
A respected long-term care facility in Hood River, OR is hiring experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for variable day and evening 8-hour shifts, totaling up to 45 hours/week. This role offers consistent full-time hours and the opportunity to work in a supportive, resident-focused environment.
Requirements
- Active Oregon CNA certification
- Flexible availability for both day and evening shifts
- Empathetic, dependable, and physically capable
- Strong interpersonal and observation skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in long-term or post-acute care preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care: bathing, dressing, toileting
- Assist with mobility, positioning, and transfers
- Monitor and report changes in resident conditions
- Support hygiene, meals, and daily living tasks
- Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful care setting
- Communicate effectively with staff, residents, and families
