About The Position

At Sunshine Cares is a Private Duty or Personal Care Agency serving patients in the comfort of their own homes. We take pride in creating a warm and welcoming environment where residents can thrive. Our dedicated team of healthcare professionals works together to ensure the well-being and comfort of our residents. We are now seeking a passionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who is available to work a variety of shifts. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Sunshine Cares, you will play a vital role in the care and support of our home based residents. Qualified candidates will have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of insurance. Requirements

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Utah is preferred.
Ability to become trained and certified as a Nurse's Aide within 4 months of employment is mandatory.
CPR and First Aid certification.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
Qualified candidates will have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of insurance.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
Monitor and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output as directed.
Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring dietary needs are met.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents.
Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the healthcare team.
Follow care plans and provide emotional support to residents.
Report any changes in resident condition to the supervising nurse.
