Our Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant-STNA in Ohio) work with community management to provide seniors with personalized care, and give resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift. Nursing assistants check in with residents, assist with dining and personal care needs, and perform vital sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy.

Requirements

  • Current, active certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Florida.
  • Successful completion of State CNA/STNA course is required.
  • Must maintain certification.

  • Experience in a senior living, long-term care, or assisted living environment is preferred.
  • A passion for working with seniors and a dedication to providing high-quality, person-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate and competent direct care to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and hygiene.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, ambulation, and dining.
  • Accurately record and report all care provided and changes in resident condition to the nursing staff.
  • Foster a warm, nurturing, and caring environment for all residents.
  • Provide assistance with activities of daily living (showers, bathroom assistance, dressing/grooming)
  • give resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • perform vital sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy.
