Requirements
- Current Florida CNA certification (or proof of reciprocity application)
- Current CPR card
- HIV/AIDS training per state regulations
- Basic computer skills and professional judgment in caregiving situations
Nice To Haves
- 4-hour Medication Administration Certificate preferred but on-the-job training is available
Responsibilities
- Support a positive, caring environment aligned with residents’ physical, social, and emotional needs
- Assist with daily activities while encouraging resident independence (mobility, dining, grooming, toileting)
- Observe, document, and communicate resident health and wellbeing
- Supervise self-medication administration and assist with treatments/procedures as trained
- Participate in meaningful activity programs and help residents stay active and engaged
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control standards
- Attend ongoing training to grow your skills
