Your day will be filled with meaningful interactions as you adhere to individualized care plans, providing essential hygiene and general care for their skin, hair, and more. You'll support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while ensuring their dignity and privacy are always maintained. Monitoring and documenting fluid and nutritional intake, alongside vital signs, will keep you engaged and connected to each resident's unique needs. Plus, there's no shortage of emotional support and encouragement as you motivate residents to participate in various activities. With a focus on safety, you'll expertly assist with mobility and transfers, using equipment like Hoyer lifts and gait belts. Requirements

  • Ability to accurately document activities of daily living.
  • Ability to work under time pressure and stress.
  • Compassionate bedside manner and empathy toward residents.
  • Understanding of and commitment to resident rights and dignity
  • Valid CNA certification in Oregon within first 120 days of employment.
  • CPR/AED required within first 120 days of employment.

  • Experience in long-term care preferred.
