About The Position

We are seeking experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join a Long-Term Care / Subacute Skilled Nursing facility in New Jersey. The CNA will work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team delivering patient-centered nursing and rehabilitation services. Candidates must be comfortable floating across various units including ventilator, rehabilitation, post-operative, and infectious disease units.

Requirements

  • Active New Jersey CNA License (Permanent)
  • AHA BLS Certification
  • Minimum 2 years of CNA experience in LTC or Subacute setting
  • Willingness to float across units as needed
  • Must be comfortable caring for COVID-positive patients
  • Ability to pass facility-issued competency exam during first week
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an approved CNA program

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with geriatric and disabled populations

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct resident care in accordance with individualized care plans
  • Assist with range-of-motion (ROM) exercises, ambulation, and transfer training
  • Support feeding, hygiene, skin checks, and AM/HS care
  • Obtain and document vital signs
  • Record intake/output and bowel movements
  • Respond promptly to call bells
  • Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
  • Assist with post-mortem care and room changes as needed
  • Maintain documentation per state and federal guidelines
  • Ensure residents are clean, safe, and using adaptive equipment properly
