Requirements
- Current Washington state CNA license.
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire.
- Two (2) positive work references.
- Complete and pass a background check and drug test.
- Availability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures.
- Minimum of 18 months of Hospital experience.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced Hospital environment.
Responsibilities
- Observes, documents, and reports changes in patient activity and/or symptoms such as vital signs, respiration, discomfort, intake, output, weight, and bleeding.
- Assist with mobility and range of motion exercises.
- Provide basic wound care and dressing changes as directed by the Registered Nurse
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, including moving patients to and from bed to the gurney or wheelchair.
- Transports patients, patient belongings and valuables, blood products, supplies, pharmaceuticals, equipment, and specimens to and from various locations.
- Comply with all hospital policies and procedures and state and federal regulations related to patient care.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
