About The Position

The Certified Nurses Assistant on the Multi-Specialty Unit is accountable for providing nursing care for patients under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

HIGH SCHOOL OR EQUIVALENT Preferred
0- 3 MONTHS EXPERIENCE
Current State of California C.N.A. certification
Current Healthcare Provider BLS
Knowledge of HIPAA and other applicable regulations, including patient confidentiality and risk management.
Ability to perform competent patient care for all ages, acuities and conditions, including ensuring age-specific care and responding to cultural needs of patients and families.
Ability to communicate clearly and with courtesy with all members of the healthcare team, following lines of authority as appropriate.
Proficiency in the use of computers and telecommunications in documentation, tracking and conveying information.
Ability to retain composure while working in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
Analytical and grammatical skills are necessary to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
Must be fluent in spoken and written English.
Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
