About The Position

Provide daily nursing care and services to assigned residents in accordance with their care plans and under supervisor direction. Available Shifts: AM Shift (7am-3pm) Observe and report any changes in resident condition, accidents, or incidents immediately to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse. Maintain accurate and descriptive documentation on charts, flow sheets, and notes using approved facility abbreviations. Respect and protect residents’ privacy by maintaining confidentiality of all health information and reporting any unauthorized disclosures. Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding. Ensure residents who cannot call for help are checked frequently and respond promptly to all call lights. Assist in transferring, positioning, and transporting residents, using only equipment you are trained on, and report any defective equipment. Monitor for signs of pressure ulcers, skin breakdowns, or injuries, and report findings promptly to nursing staff. Honor and report any resident refusals of care or treatment, ensuring their rights and dignity are respected.
