A little more about our center: Southview Manor (formerly Southview Care) is an inner-city skilled nursing facility (SNF) with 5 floors and an average census of 160+. We have and multiple levels of care, including long term care and a large behavioral health (many formerly indigent) population. The average age of our patients is 35-55 and the most common diagnoses are schizophrenia, bi-polar and major depressive disorders. Many are able to age in place, and about 25% return to the community. We have several programs encouraging engagement, but the most popular spot in our center is the game room. The Metra and the Green Line are just a few blocks away What you will do in this role : In our facility we feel the CNA is pivotal to the satisfaction of a patient/resident. This is a predominantly behavioral health population - Come and make a direct impact on our patient’s recovery and stay. You will help patients reach their goals and work side by side with a highly skilled multidisciplinary team. You'll be joining an awesome Certified Nursing Assistant team; they do whatever is needed to make the patient more comfortable.
