About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support an Emergency Department Float Pool in a fast-paced, acute care environment. This role requires flexibility, strong teamwork skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple emergency care settings. Prior Level I Trauma Center experience is preferred.

Requirements

• Current New York State CNA Certification
• BLS Certification (required)
• Minimum 1 year of patient care experience
• Ability to meet all pre-employment health and compliance requirements

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in an Emergency Department
• Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department
• Obtain and accurately document vital signs in a timely manner
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including toileting, bathing, feeding, and mobility
• Serve as a safety companion for patients identified as safety risks
• Demonstrate knowledge of normal growth and development across all age groups
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and care needs
• Communicate clearly and professionally with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive patient care environment
• Participate in unit-based activities and quality improvement initiatives
• Accurately obtain, record, exchange, and communicate patient information
• Uphold ethical standards, patient confidentiality, and professional conduct
• Maintain positive public relations and engage in ongoing professional development
