About The Position

At Mocara Hospice, we believe end-of-life care should be filled with comfort, dignity, and compassion. We are honored to walk alongside our patients and their families during some of life's most meaningful moments. We are currently seeking a kind, dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide loving care in both facility settings and patients' homes. What You'll Do: Provide gentle, hands-on care to hospice patients in facilities and in-home settings Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility Offer comfort, companionship, and emotional support to patients and families Observe and report changes in patient condition to the hospice nurse Help maintain a clean, calm, and safe care environment Document care provided accurately and in a timely manner Follow all safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines

Requirements

• Active CNA certification in the state of employment
• A compassionate heart and strong sense of empathy
• Ability to work independently while being a supportive team member
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and willingness to travel
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain

Nice To Haves

• Hospice, home health, or long-term care experience preferred (but not required)
