About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality care in a long-term care dementia/neurobehavioral unit. This role involves supporting residents diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, including individuals with complex or challenging behaviors. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, and committed to delivering safe, respectful, and person-centered care.

Requirements

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Prior experience in long-term care or dementia care preferred
• Ability to manage residents with neurobehavioral conditions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents in a dementia/neurobehavioral unit
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical and behavioral conditions
• Support residents with Alzheimer’s and dementia, including those with challenging behaviors
• Maintain a safe, calm, and supportive environment
• Follow individualized care plans and established protocols
• Assist nursing staff with routine clinical tasks
• Accurately document care provided and observations
• Promote dignity, respect, and quality of life for all residents
