About The Position
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Terrace Grove Assisted Living, you will be an essential part of our assisted living team, responsible for assisting residents with their activities of daily living and providing companionship and support. Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassion and patience when working with elderly residents.
- Ability to work as part of a healthcare team.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
- Help residents with meals, ensuring their dietary needs and preferences are met.
- Observe and report changes in residents' conditions to the nursing and healthcare team.
- Foster a supportive and caring environment, promoting social interaction and engagement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records and documentation.
