Requirements
- Current CNA certification
- Reliable Transportation
- Understanding of common senior conditions (Alzheimer's/Dementia, mobility issues)
- Home safety protocols & HIPAA compliance
- Medication reminders and simple health monitoring
- Proper body mechanics for lifting and assisting
- Nutrition, meal prep, and basic housekeeping
- Compassion, patience, and active listening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable time management and adaptability
- Attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to follow care plans
- Professional, positive attitude
Nice To Haves
- Basic first aid & CPR (preferred but not required)
Responsibilities
- Assist seniors with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Provide light housekeeping to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to brighten each client's day
- Provide medication reminders and assist with simple health monitoring
- Document care accurately and report any concerns to the care team and families
