About The Position

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Location: VA Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS) – Multiple Sites Contract Period: Base Year + Three Option Years Schedule: Part Time Position - Less than 35hrs a week Hourly: 23.00/hr plus 4.93 for Health and Wellness Primary Responsibilities Responsibilities: Provide basic nursing care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs). Monitor patient conditions and report changes to nursing staff. Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and transportation. Collect and document patient vital signs. Maintain a clean and safe patient environment. Provide emotional support and communication to patients and families. Follow infection control protocols and patient privacy regulations. Minimum Qualifications Qualifications: Active CNA certification in any U.S. state. Minimum one year of CNA experience in a healthcare setting. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of infection control and patient safety standards.
