Requirements

• Must be a certified nursing assistant (CNA).

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized physical, psychological, and social support to residents.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as dressing, grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting, transferring, walking, and positioning.
• Escort residents to activities and functions such as beauty shops, club meetings, and church services.
• Keep accurate records of meal consumption and other required documentation.
• Respond appropriately to emotional outbursts and maintain a calm demeanor.
• Treat residents with respect and kindness, preserving their dignity.
