About The Position

Wellington Health and Rehab in Wellington, KS is looking to hire a full-time night Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. This rehabilitation nursing position earns a competitive salary of $16.00 - $17.60 per hour. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you play a vital role in our community, providing total care for our residents and assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs). You will also be responsible for recording vital signs and observing any changes in residents' conditions.

Requirements

• Completed a state approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
• Current Kansas certification/registration to practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPPA regulations.
• Desire to work with the elderly.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a geriatric nursing facility is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as washing, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, walking, transferring, skin care, toileting, oral care, and catheter care.
• Perform care as defined by resident plan of care/CNA assignment card.
• Record temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight.
• Conduct range of motion exercises as needed.
• Observe and report any changes in residents' condition, attitude, reaction, appetite, and behavior.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPPA regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues.
