About The Position

This is an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF). Residents do NOT require skilled care; your job is a little different here: Residents are more independent. LOVE patient interaction and one-on-one time? This is a slower paced center so you get to know your patients. This environment has less lifting and less physical demands on your body. You will have the chance to assist and attend activity outings with residents. You may help residents with things like choosing clothing or setting appointments. Overall you will provide compassionate care monitoring to this unique population.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in IL.
• Prior experience or desire to work with behavioral population.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care monitoring to residents.
• Assist and attend activity outings with residents.
• Help residents with choosing clothing or setting appointments.
• Perform nurse daily tasks including med pass, assessments, admissions, and supervision of C.N.A.s.
