Conveniently located in beautiful downtown Brunswick, the Mid Coast Hospital Walk-In Clinic offers expert and urgent care for minor medical problems such as cuts, sprains, coughs, and infections, plus on-site diagnostic services, a co-located laboratory service center, and integration with primary care. Mid Coast Hospital provides Surgical Services, Maternity Care, and Behavioral Health services, 24-hour Emergency care, Intensive Care, Medical/Surgical/Pediatrics, Laboratory, Diagnostic Imaging, Cardiac Catheterization, Interventional Radiology, rehabilitation and therapy, and an array of community health & wellness programs aimed at preventing and managing chronic diseases. The ICU is presently seeking a CNA/Unit Secretary to join their team! For a limited time MaineHealth is offering sign on bonuses for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA): 0-1 years of experience eligible for $2,500 ( full time ) 1+ years of experience eligible for $4,000 ( full time ) Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time CNA position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment. Summary: This position consists of 24 hours per week, night shifts. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant - Unit Coordinator role coordinates and organizes the clinical duties of the unit or department and performs Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) duties as appropriate.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Maine or Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) in New Hampshire.
  • Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  • Relevant experience preferred.
