Work Shift Various (United States of America) Job Summary: The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Trainee will be responsible for successfully completing a CNA training program with a Wellstar academic partner or through a Wellstar training program. The CNA Trainee will receive training through classroom (virtual and/or in person) and clinical sessions that will develop skills in communication, interpersonal skills, infection control, safety, promoting independence, resident and/or patient rights, taking and recording vital signs, caring for resident's and/or patient's environment, recognizing and reporting abnormal changes in the body functions, personal care skills, mental health and social needs, and restorative nursing skills. Upon successful completion of this program, the CNA Trainee will be prepared to successfully pass the Georgia State Board of Nursing Certification Exam. Requirements

Rising High School Junior or Senior Required or High school diploma Preferred or GED Preferred
Basic Life Support / American Heart Association
Ability to follow detailed directions.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Clear verbal and written communication, specifically ability to document.
Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
