About The Position

The Surgical and Digestive Care Unit is a 24-bed unit that provides care for a wide variety of patients, including those needing medically managed digestive care and surgical care ranging from trauma, abdominal, vascular, urology, otolaryngology, bariatric, and plastic surgery patients. This position is for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) working 0.2 FTE, which translates to 16 hours every two weeks. The shifts will rotate between days (6:30am-3:00pm), PMs (2:30pm-11:00pm), and nights (10:30pm-7:00am), with expectations to work every other weekend and holiday.

Requirements

• Wisconsin Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers from American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Care for a variety of surgical patients in the inpatient setting, utilizing a vast array of nursing skills.
